The Crime of the Century

I got the Crime of the Century audio to work by accessing it through the Webliography section. It was a wonderful, relaxing and centering exercise. I am familiar with the chakras and their corresponding emotions, energy and body regions. I loved this exercise! The one thing I did differently was, rather than imagining sending out the color from by body, I imagined drawing the color in from the world around to blend with the color from myself – a way of connecting to the universe. I felt very relaxed and sleepy at the beginning of the exercise and thought I would fall asleep, but didn’t. I ended feeling relaxed but alert and ready to get on with my work.

  1. That is great that you found a way to make this exercise work for you. I liked how you decided to blend the colors because we will never be able to completely get away from the world, but we need to learn how to mesh with the world in order to be happy and not be consumed by it.

  2. Hi! Kelly, I found this exercise more difficult for me than the first. I think it is because imagining things has always been a challenge for me even when I was a child. Trying to visualize distracted me from exercise and I had a hard time relaxing. While I did finally relax I didn't feel as mentally focused and clear and I had with the first exercise. It is fun to read everyone's experiences.
